Kalamazoo Events for December 8 to 15

  • Wednesday, December 8 at 5 to 6 p.m. - God's Kitchen of Michigan serves a FREE dinner to the community at Westwood Christian Reformed Church, 620 Northampton Rd., off W. Main St. across from Drive & Shine car wash. The evening's menu includes Parmesan encrusted tilapia fish or chicken, broccoli, au gratin potatoes, dessert, and bottled water. Meals are carry out only, limit one per person. Face coverings are recommended.
  • Thursday, December 9 at 5 to 7 p.m. - Kalsee Credit Union open job interviews at their new Milwood branch , 3121 Portage St. at Cork St. Here are their current openings.
  • Saturday, December 11 at 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. - Customer Appreciation Day at Perry Harley-Davidson motorcycles, 5331 S. Sprinkle Rd., 1/3 mile south of Kilgore Rd. next to Sprinkle Road Laundry. FREE coffee, Meijer doughnuts, Domino's pizza at lunchtime, tabletop miniature curling game, complementary gift wrapping in Harley-Davidson paper, and photographs with Santa Claus and his Harley-Davidson powered sleigh from noon to 2 p.m. Perry Harley-Davidson claims to be Michigan's oldest motorcycle dealership.
  • Monday, December 13 at 9 a.m. - The new Kalsee Credit Union Milwood branch opens to the public at 3121 Portage St., at the Cork St. corner. The current 2501 Millcork St. location will become a corporate headquarters only.
