Wednesday, June 1
- 5:30–6:30 p.m. - weekly Workout Wednesday FREE fitness class, outdoors in Bronson Park, provided by Rose Wellbeing
- 5:30–8:30 p.m. - weekly Beats on Bates live music series, outdoors on Bates Alley, featuring Capt. Cat
Thursday, June 2
- 5 p.m. - 3rd annual Salvation Army Doughnut Eating Contest at Sweetwater's Donut Mill on Stadium Dr. "Contestants will try to eat the most donuts in ten minutes". "A free donut will be offered to all who attend."
Friday, June 3 - JumpstART Weekend
- 8–9:30 a.m. - Gazelle Sports Historic Walk with Lynn Houghton of the Vine Historic District. Website says to meet at Gazelle Sports on the Kalamazoo Mall, but another entry says to meet at the corner of Pearl and Dutton Streets, which is Old Central High School and makes more sense.
- noon–8 p.m. - 71st annual Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Fair in Bronson Park with music, food trucks, beer garden, and family activities. KIA galleries will be open for FREE admission. The "second longest-running arts fair in the country".
- noon–8 p.m. - annual Art on the Mall in downtown Kalamazoo with live music
- 5–8 p.m. - monthly Art Hop in downtown Kalamazoo with a "Let Freedom Ring"/Juneteenth theme
- 5:30–8:30 p.m. - State on the Street live concert outside the State Theatre on S. Burdick St. with Lisa Can't Sing. Cash bar begins at 5 p.m. (next one: July 15, KST 95th Birthday Celebration, The Insiders: A Tribute to Tom Petty)
- 6–11:55 p.m. - annual Kalamazoo Pride festival at Arcadia Creek Festival Place (FREE admission only for volunteers, exhibitors, petitioners, and children 12 and under. Everyone not working pays $8 at the door, $15 for a two-day pass, or $10 for a two-day pass in advance.)
Saturday, June 4 - JumpstART Weekend
- 8 a.m.–noon - Bank Street Farmers' Market

- 10 a.m.–3:30 p.m. - annual Friends of the Kalamazoo Public Library Bag of Books Sale in the rear parking lot of Central library. Thousands of books for 25¢ each or a bag for $3.
- 10 a.m.–6 p.m. - Pokémon GO Fest, "the biggest Pokémon GO event of the year!", "millions of Trainers around the world" in Bronson Park, Kalamazoo Mall, and throughout downtown Kalamazoo.
- 10:30 a.m.–2 p.m. - 8th annual Bikers' Blessing at Mt. Zion Baptist Church for motorcyclists and bicyclists. "Experience fellowship, food, fun, and the blessing with other bikers".
- 11 a.m.–noon - annual Do-Dah Parade in downtown Kalamazoo. Thirty-five parade entries, matching the parody theme "Where is the Zoo?" Video of the Do-Dah Parade in 2014.
- 2–11:55 p.m. - annual Kalamazoo Pride festival at Arcadia Creek Festival Place. Kalamazoo Public Library mobile branch (a.k.a. bookmobile) will be present 2–5 p.m. (FREE admission only for volunteers, exhibitors, petitioners, and children 12 and under. Everyone not working pays $8 at the door, $15 for a two-day pass, or $10 for a two-day pass in advance.)

- 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. - weekly Lunchtime Live! Food Truck Rally in Bronson Park with live music and games. This week's featured artist is Megan Dooley with American roots music.
- 3–7 p.m. - Kzoo Parks Summer Kick-off Carnival in Upjohn Park. Food trucks Teresa’s Kitchen, Scott’s Pig Roast, and On the Roll will have food available for purchase.
- 5:30–8:30 p.m. - Deb Droppers's semi-monthly Food Truck Rally in the old Wayside West parking lot, next to Lume Cannabis dispensary.
- 6–10 p.m. - Kzoo Parks Summer Cinema FREE outdoor movie Shark Tale at Upjohn Park. Movie begins at 7 p.m. Free disc golf clinic begins at 6 p.m.
- 7 p.m. - EveryHeart Movement "catalytic worship gathering" at Arcadia Creek Festival Place in downtown Kalamazoo. (event illegally advertised via #StreetSpam; added Tuesday, June 7, 2022)

- noon–7 p.m. - Vintage In The Zoo Mall Mart and Zoo Flea vintage and handmade marketplace on the N. Kalamazoo Mall with 70+ vendors and live d.j. (monthly, second Saturdays, again July 9).

- 4–5 p.m. - Concerts in the Park live music in Bronson Park, featuring the Kalamazoo Concert Band (upcoming: July 2, 7:30–9:30 p.m., Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra; July 10, Denise Davis & The Motor City Sensations)

- 5:30–8:30 p.m. - Neighborhood Care Outreach "community wide gathering" with free concert at Trenches Community Church, behind E. Main St. Harding's Market. This follows an Urban Alliance anti-gun violence Life Camp with free breakfast and lunch for kids ages 11–16 that morning and afternoon. (event added Monday, June 13, 2022)

- 1–3 p.m. - monthly Food Box Pickup at Mayors’ Riverfront Park (third Fridays, next one July 15)
- 3–8:30 p.m. - Kalamazoo State Theatre's Queer The Block outdoor block party on S. Burdick St. "Chalk the Block" 3–5 p.m.: "Help us decorate the dance floor and enjoy free activities provided by local downtown businesses and organizations". Cash bar opens at 5 p.m. Live entertainment at 5:30–8:30 p.m.: "featuring Beats by DJ Dazzelship, the Kunty Kittens Drag Show with a sneak peek performance by Queer Theatre Kalamazoo".
Saturday, June 18
- 8 a.m.–noon - Bank Street Farmers' Market
- noon–5 p.m. - Common Ground and Hope for Creation annual garden tour, featuring church-owned gardens. Tour starts at Children's Nature Playscape, next to Bronson Park. Light refreshments provided. Tour is FREE, but you must register in advance. (event added Wednesday, June 8, 2022)

- 6:30–8:00 p.m. - Gazelle Sports Historic Walk with Lynn Houghton of the Vine Historic District. Meet at the corner of Pearl and Dutton Streets, next to Old Central High School/Chenery Auditorium. This tour will focus on Davis Street, which is at the bottom of Western Michigan University's Prospect Hill. Vine Neighborhood Association Executive Director Steve Walsh and recently retired city of Kalamazoo Historic Preservation Coordinator Sharon Ferraro have been invited to join this tour.
